Making the Ottawa Public Library accessible to people with disabilities.

The Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is dedicated to making its resources accessible to people with disabilities, specifically through its services and collections, including: Homebound Services, the resources of the Centre for Equitable Library Access (CELA), assistive technology, and accessible collections.

If you require longer borrowing periods due to a disability, consider speaking with an employee and asking about Accessibility Status to have your borrowing periods extended.

OPL complies with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and will provide reasonable accommodations upon request.

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact Accessibility Services at accessibility.office@BiblioOttawaLibrary.ca or 613-580-2424 ext. 28321.

See OPL’s Accessibility Policy, Accessible Formats and Communication Supports Policy and the Accessibility Position Statement for more information on the Library’s commitment to accessibility.
