Libraries for Ottawa

The Ottawa Public Library has approved a Strategic Plan 2008-2011 which contains five key strategic directions. The third direction is Developing our Places and Spaces and the fourth is Building a New Central Library. Libraries for Ottawa is a concept which includes the long term vision for building, renovating and renewing our places and spaces, including community and district branches, as well as building a new central library as a strong foundation for the entire library system.
