Cheer Up With Gentle Reads

Apr 04, 2020

I think readers (and movie buffs) will all agree that one of the things we love about books (and movies) is their ability to transport us somewhere new. They allow us to escape our day-to-day lives for a little while. Maybe we want to see what it’s like to live in a completely foreign culture. Maybe we need a little adventure, or even a little danger. Maybe we want to experience an impossible world of fantasy, or a possible world of the future. But these days, a lot of us might just need a good pick-me-up. So, here is a list of feel-good titles available through OPL. They include ebooks, audiobooks, and streaming video. They are mostly character-driven, with humour and touching moments. So curl up with a blanket and a cup of tea, and let OPL cheer you up!
