How to download Adobe Digital editions (not in OPL) into Overdr

I understand that it is possible to download Adobe Digital Editions books in Overdraive even though they have not been selected from the OPL collection. I wish to read them in Overdrive on my ipad. When I read them in Adobe Digital Editions I am unable to delete them when I have read them, where as books from the OPL collection are easily deleted

Holds I make for ebooks disappear. No, the books were never delivered - I was still waiting for them to come up - your new system has nothing to do with it - I have used the new system successfully. I will see the hold on my account for weeks, then one day when I check to see how much longer, the title is gone! And I have to begin again. Really really annoying and discouraging and frustrating, especially now that you receive fewer licences for ebooks. This all applies to ebooks. Please help/explain/something. I don't want a tutorial. I want an answer.

Hello. We're sorry that you are experiencing this issue. As we have several eBook platforms (ex. Overdrive, Cloud Library) and may need to access your account to determine the issue, InfoService is best suited to assist you in this matter. You can contact them at 613-580-2940 or InfoService@BiblioOttawaLibrary.ca. If you are using Overdrive or Libby, you can also get support directly from Overdrive here: https://help.overdrive.com/en-us/support.htm. Thank you.
