Imaginative Watercolours for Seniors Parts 1 and 2

art supplies

We have scheduled a second course in this popular topic, this time on Wednesday mornings.  Learn the basics while discovering fun and unexpected ways of painting with watercolours!  Join art instructor Maya Hum and learn how to let loose and let your painting show your imagination!  Learn about both classic and expressive painting topics.  In Part 1, you will learn the basics of watercolour painting and different ways to create wonderful effects with it. We will end the lesson with imaginative abstract to non abstract works!  In Part 2, we will continue exploring imaginative watercolours.  This lesson connects with the practice of Zen-tangle art. Follow step-by-step as the instructor guides you through this mindful lesson on how to imagine and illustrate a nature scene using paints and ink pen.   All levels welcome!

Register to attend and to receive the Zoom link. Kits with supplies and instructions will be provided.  Arrangements for pickup of kits will be made by email a week before Part 1.

If you have questions, email us at wellnessfridays.vendredissante@biblioottawalibrary.ca or phone InfoService 613-580-2940.
